Meet Mike, the Military Working Dog
Mike is the name of my nephew's MWD
MWD stands for Military Working Dog.
This is Mike, a black lab and his handler Dave on active duty. Both Marines served our country proudly!

It was Dave and Mike's job to sniff out and find IEDs (improvised explosive devices).
True heroes
Mike and Dave saved the lives of many men and women serving our country by locating deadly IEDs so that they could be destroyed.

Mike could always help to lift the spirits of the other marines with his funny personality.

Mike takes a well deserved break and hopes for a few treats from his fellow Marines.
